Their bold graphics and coordinating super soft “minky” plush fabrics are sure to please. Being machine washable makes them the perfect blanket to grab for the stroller, car seat or plane ride. Many of them have become “lovies” as babies have grown older.

The Minnow Minis are just like the wonderful Minnow Blankets just smaller! 

They are the perfect lap blanket for chilly little legs in a car seat or stroller or for snuggling with in bed. There is even a velcro tab for securing the Minnow Mini to a car seat, stroller or for attaching a pacifier or toy. The Minnow Minis measure 18 inches square.

About the Owners

Minnow was started by sisters-in-law, Kristin and Sarah. It began when Kristin was pregnant with her first child. Many of her friends family were also having babies at the same time. Being a born creator and able sewer, she decided to make a blanket for all of the new babies in her midst. The blankets were an instantaneous hit. After discussions with her sister-in-law, Sarah, the idea of a starting a business around the blankets began.

Kristin remains the sole creator and maker of all of all Minnowbaby items, with her 5 year old Finn and 2 year old Olivia being great helpers. She and her family are based in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Sarah, who is a 

graphic designer, oversee the business aspect of the company, in between running around with her 6 year old and 2 year old out in the redwoods of Northern California. 

Both still love making new mom's and babies happy with the beautiful and durable items they sell.
